June 2009
Calderdale Community Forum's Annual General Meeting 2009 incorporated the Volutary and Community Sector Summit. Calderdale Community Forum (CCF) and Calderdale Forward (the Local Strategic Partnership) staged a joint event 18th June 2009, at the King's Centre in Halifax. Attended by around 70 people, the event combined information stalls from voluntary and community sector (VCS) organisations, presentations from VCS and statutory representatives, CCF's annual general meeting and the VCS Summit. Attendees included elected members, VCS and statutory representatives and partners.
July 2008
At the 2008 AGM attendees voted unanimously in favour of Calderdale Community Forum becoming a company limited by guarantee. The meeting, held at the Maurice Jagger Centre, Halifax, on the 17th July 2008, also approved changes in the management structure of the Forum. The Management Group was disbanded, and the Strategy Group formed, with issues of governance being handles by the Board of Trustees.
July 2007
CCF's constitution was agreed. Ways CCF and the Local Strategic Partnership, Calderdale Forward, would work together to acieve the aims and objectives of the Local Area Agreement where part of the Chair's address. Presentations included an introduction to the Local Strategic Partnership and the role of the Partnership Manager. Members of the Management Committee were elected.
